Coming up this week:

Monday Assembly( in Ruston) 10:15-10:30 

7/8 Advisory 10:30-11:00 begin service learning project.

Wednesday 10:15 (MS Parking Lot and Quad) :7th grade bus evacuation, followed by 8th grade

When not practicing the evacuation, have a break in the quad

Friday 10:15 HUSTLE down to the sand volleyball courts. Be mindful of what you are wearing to play volleyball- (dresses don't work) All teams play. Schedule is posted on the HOUSE INFORMATION PAGE.

Running for Student Council?  See Mr. Neustadt and prepare to turn in your speech to him this week!

Speeches will be given NEXT MONDAY OCTOBER 5th at assembly.

Welcome Back...

Hi everyone! It's great to see you all back at school. I hope you all enjoyed your trips.
Now that you've seen the presentation about the service learning project through advisory this year...start thinking! Next Monday you'll begin the process of finding something that sparks your interest and motivates you to make a difference.

Reminders for this week:

• Wednesday there is an assembly in Ruston for Grades 5-12 at 10:15. If the assembly is over early, you will have a break for recess/hang time in the quad.

• Friday we will meet by HOUSE and  VOTE for Heads of Houses. If you are interested in being the Head of House for yours, be prepared to tell your peers why you would be the best candidate. We will also use this time on Friday to sign up for HOUSE SPORTS. The House Sports this year are Volleyball, Dodgeball, Kickball, and GaGa. 
• Other announcements: 
• We need volunteers for Parents' Night on October 1st- see Ms. Braniff
• Sign up for Drama Auditions TODAY at Lunch outside Spaulding Auditorium
• Mr. Dorfman is setting up Fantasy Football on Google Drive for 7th and 8th graders
• Sock Drive: if you did the training and want to distribute socks to the homeless, please see Ms. Tidey in STARBUCK room before Thursday.
