Advisory Meetings

During Advisory Meetings, we hang out, snack, and talk about the highs and lows of our week. It's a time for advisors to connect with their advisees. In addition, advisors weave in a curriculum of service, character education, and digital literacy.

Character Education: We focus each month on a character thing to foster Social and Emotional Learning in our Students. About once per month, we will devote an advisory meeting to an in depth discussion and activity regarding that theme, and throughout the month, we will link activities, assemblies, and school events to the theme at hand. Our monthly themes are as follows:

• September/October: Health + Wellness
• November/December: Gratitude + Altruism
• January: Community
• February: Empathy
• March: Responsibility
• April: Integrity
• May: Legacy
